la del mejor escalador al mismo tiempo. Bartali fue el primero
en hacerlo en el 38 y 48, Coppi en el 49 y el 52 se adjudico el
mismo honor. Posteriormente el español Bahamontes lo hace en el
59. Diez años después el turno fue para Merckx que repitió en el
70. Pasaron 45 años para que el británico lo alcanzara
nuevamente. En relación a la camisa verde, Sagan entra a un club
muy selecto al colectar su cuarta edición, lo acompaña el
irlandés Kelly con la misma cantidad y solamente lo supera el
alemán Zabel con seis. En cuanto a la camisa blanca como el
mejor joven, Quintana obtiene históricamente la quinta para los
latinoamericanos desde su apertura en 1975, y la segunda en su
cuenta personal, Nairo se adhiere a los colombianos Parra y
Mejía, como también al mexicano Alcalá, en ganar este galardón.
Todo un continente tendrá que esperar un año más, para ver el
primer latinoamericano volar por lo alto en los cielos europeos,
convirtiéndose en el cóndor amarillo, que arrebatara la victoria
para enmudecer a rivales y desconocidos.

jersey for Latin America since the first incision in 1975, and
the second one in his personal account, Nairo adheres his name
to the Colombians Parra and Mejía, and the Mexican Alcalá. An
entire continent will have to wait another year, to see the
first Latin American to fly high at the European skies, becoming
the “yellow condor”, which will snatch victory, to mute rivals
and strangers.
