* 35+ Willie Gonzalez from team paisa was able to
accomplish his responsibility, to keep his yellow jersey. Not
only that but he also had in mind to get the white jersey. That

between Gunter Hermanni from Z motion and Robinson Ransford from
Bike America. Unfortunately for Ransford, He was short one place

* 45+ Big Wheel team was able to take 1st and
2nd place on this series, followed by 4 riders from
Bike America. In the other hand Israel Vera from Team Paisa was
very dominant of the white sprinters jersey getting ahead of
Wills Powell from Bike America by 16 point. Big Wheel team keeps
total domination on the 45+ category totaling 14 yellow jerseys
in the last 12 years, ten by Mauricio Mosquera and four by
Wallie Martinez
* 1, 2, 3 Very interesting day, two former pro riders,
Ivan Franco from ONCE pro team, now racing for Santos/Megacycle
and Alex Zambrana from Postobon pro team, now racing for Z’s
Bike gave to the spectators a good and fast event to see. While
Alex was racing to win the day, Ivan and company had the yellow
jersey. Every body’s attention was on Gabriel (current leader at
the race). But Santos did the magic trick, placed on the
breakaway the new rising star; Raul Bello. By placing 2nd,
He made it to the hall of fame, as the winner of 2010 series 1.
Not only that, but they claimed 2nd and 3rd
place in the general classification. Definitely the dominating
team so far.
* 4&5 New rider to the equation, Manuel Caso better known
as “Lili” told me yesterday at the Sheridan ride, “event though
I missed a couple of races I will win every thing tomorrow”. He
was able to claim the white jersey and took 3rd place
overall. 1st and 2nd place watched each
other and let some other take top 5 places. But Big Wheel always
had Jose Benitez on all breaks, making sure that Daniel’s yellow
jersey was secure. Mosquera played well his race to become the
first hall of fame member to the 2010 club of winners in his
category.
