* 35+ Weather forecast 10% rain, and that 10% small cloud sat
on us for an hour, two climbs and a little rain, how could you ask
for a better road race, nothing to envy this days from European
racing. Said that, N Trujillo with TAS team gave us a good
demonstration of good racing, he took the polka dot jersey and
in a solo, gained about 3 minutes to the field. Second place of
the day was for E Toledo that came by himself too, the podium
was completed by G Cousins. R Robinson kept his yellow jersey
and now is two points ahead of Y Aira on GC.
*45+ & 55+ Rain was gone and another good field, four
riders broke away, three were 45+ and one was 55+. S Tannenbaum
is the new polka dot leader, followed by J Armas just one point
behind. G Ferrer won the combine race (45+ & 55+) he still
second place overall on 55+ category, his team mate continue in
yellow. At the 45+ category, S Tannenbaun gets first, followed
by J Armas and D Paulete. Armas kept his yellow jersey and C
Ortiz is in second place just two points behind.
*Pro 1,2,3 The smallest field of the day, but full of
talented riders. M Henao on another demonstration of good
cycling is the new polka dot leader and the winner of the day.
His team mate I Franco got second place. Third place was for P
Sansbury, this placing gave him the yellow jersey. Two riders
sit on second place overall D Cuelli and N Trujillo, just one
point behind the current leader. Next Piccolo race promises us a
good show for the series finale.
*Cat 4&5 Biggest field of the day and only two riders
could finish this race. Lots of new young riders looking to gain
experience, on the most challenging racing course in South
Florida. J Rodriguez after an unfortunate flat tire crashing
while going downhill on the 35+ race, came back to win in a solo
this race once again: he gets the polka dot jersey and seats 3rd
overall. Second, third and four places were chasing each other
by themselves, and a pack of ten riders was chasing those four
ahead of them. Second place of the day was for E Lopez that now
shortened three points from the current leader R Szabo. Third
place of the day was for J Lamy.
