Etapa 13 / Stage 13 TDF 2015

Miami, FL, July 17th, 2015

* Change of pace today, heading to the world of speed, where competition becomes more interesting for green, that for yellow. In cold blood regardless of what happens, shoulder to shoulder, they fight for position seeking for points in a competition too close to tell, green becomes a beautiful emerald that changes hands almost daily. At every opportunity that it is presented to them, the green jersey has a new owner. Partially now on the intermediate sprint "the gorilla" is in green.
Péraud, the leader of AG2R team gave us a lesson of courage and brotherhood, after a spectacular fall placed his pain aside, the ideal of finishing the stage and the need to supply his teammates, when he reconnected with the peloton. Understandable by all of us that have had similar experiences, but questionable for others; simply, the honor gets imposed to the pain.
Van Avermaet in a spectacular uphill sprint wins the stage, where Sagan gets to his wheel, but cannot overpass him. Peter’s second place of today, gives him the green jersey back, which partially lost it during the course of the day.
