*40+ An early break formed with Diaz, Armas and Cruz, they
worked steady pace and open up a good gap. After two attempts
Franco was able to jump from the pack and close and get to the
breakaway group. Diaz and Cruz went back to the pack and Armas
wins the day but Franco wins the series for ZMotion. The bunch
sprint was taken by Carlos and Javier Ortiz. Sosa takes second
place overall followed by C Ortiz to complete the podium.
*50+ After two laps into the race three riders got clear from
the field, Perry, Tittle and Angel. A few laps later, Lincoln,
Rosenthal, Hurtado, Julian, Stauber, Aldridge and Sanchez close
the gap. To big of a group and the field is closing. For a
moment pace slows down and Angel takes off followed by Lincoln,
Perry and Sanchez. Was a perfect set up for Bike America in
search for the overall, but Julian spoiled the day by taken
Rosenthal on the field sprint. Angel wins the day followed by
Perry and Lincoln. Julian wins the series and the absent leader
Carlos moved two second place, followed by Rosenthal in third.
*Pro 1,2,3 First and second place overall went racing to
Bahamas, every this is for grabs. But team Cocos, left a good
sprinter to back up the absent team mates. Fast pace kept all of
them together, many strong riders attempted to breakaway without
success. Marin wins the day given enough points to win the
overall classification; Guttenplan gets second but not enough
points to overcome Pol and Travieso. Zayas placed fourth and
jumped to second place overall, followed by Pol.
*4&5 Two teams determined to keep the bunch together
until the last lap and see who had a better sprinter. All team
mates of both Rosetti and Performance gave it all for their
current leaders. Rosetti had two riders on the top two places
overall and Salas was in third. Daniel with an extraordinary
sprint wins the day and the overall. Salas got second but the
gained points only tie Cristia, that with his fourth place gets
second place overall.
