*35+ On a sunny day the first 30 minutes was a play ground
for the sprinters searching for points on the white jersey, J
Rodriguez from Velo Masters took five to get it, followed by N
Trujillo from Tas team two points behind. Soon after, a break of
five riders took the race on their hands; with a high pace that
the bunch could not close. One, two for Z motion, K Schofield
now is the current leader, followed by B Reeves, the sprint for
third was for Trujillo ahead of L Rios from performance team;
and right behind was F Garcia from Velo Masters.
*45+ J Armas from GS Palm Beach team continues dominating
this category; he took both sprints to get the white jersey.
Then a break of three riders got a gap of 200 to 300 meters for
the last 20 minutes of racing, which the bunch cloud not
bridged. Armas got yellow again, by winning the race, followed
by G Ferrer in second place racing for Big Wheel Sunrise; B
Reeves from Z Motion Team closed the podium in third place.
*Pro 1,2,3 For the main event of the day in a continuing
shine day, the sponsors that are helping us at this series,
their teams are leading all three available jerseys; M Henao has
the Bike Street polka dot jersey. M Matos from Z Motion team got
both intermediate springs to get the EBP sponsored sprinters
jersey. Now, about the EBP’s yellow jersey, on a close final
sprint JF Rodriguez takes the leadership of the series, followed
by M Henao and Y Aira. L Martinez and N Trujillo closed the top
five contenders so far for this series.
*4&5 For the sprinter’s white jersey at this series we had a
tie race, on first place we have S Delgado and N Rolo with three
points, but three riders with two points following this
sprinters’ jersey; Rodriguez, Garcia and Lopez. Next race will
be very interesting how this develops. On the other hand for the
yellow jersey Galiz team drove the bunch most of the race but
could not manage to place a rider on top five.N Rolo from
Colavita team in a solo won the race and it is your current
leader. The bunch sprint for second place was taken by W Loheida
from Andante team, followed by R Szabo racing for Bike America.
*55+ & Wm For the first time we had this category racing on
their own, not a big field but it makes racing more difficult,
many jumps but not break was created. For the final sprint side
by side M Mosquera from Big Wheel Sunrise Team beat G Schneider
racing for Pink Panthers. Third place of the day was for E
Grigioni. We had cat 4 women racing here too, M Smith from Cool
beans wins, followed by C Kambi from Gearlink racing team.
