* 35+ As expected we had a “fight for white” The first
intermediate sprint was the key for Nelson Trujillo to gain the
final sprinter’s white jersey by taking first place and the
former leader Morozov took third. Right after the second
intermediate sprint Trujillo broke away with Gus Ferrer to do
one-two; the bunch sprint 25 seconds later was for Jose F
Rodriguez. The current yellow jersey leader had a flat tire and
did not finish the race since there are no free laps at this
venue, but he had enough points to win the series, second place
overall was for Trujillo followed by Victor Herrera in third.
* 45+ & 55+ Interesting setup was given by this bunch,
five guys broke away, three chasers but one of them was a 55+
rider, Andrew MacFarlane that end up winning the day on his
category; then a second chase of another three riders followed a
few seconds after by the main field containing all 55+ riders
just waiting for the final sprint to decide the winner of the
series that it was taken by Rosenthal from Martinez in second
with Craig in third place. The sprinters jersey had already a
name written down to it, it was Jose Armas. He was on the
breakaway of five riders to secure the yellow one, as well
sharing the podium with Trujillo in second and Llorens in third.
William Cuello wins the day followed by Nelson Trujillo and
Leonel Martinez.
* Pro 1,2,3 A breakaway trio takes all. From the beginning
they were gone and swept the podium, Jose A Rodriguez wins the
day; Andrew Geffner takes second and all points at the
intermediate sprints to win the points jersey. Third place on
his third race of the day; was for Nelson Trujillo that placed
at the podium on all three races, impressive. The General
classification did not have any modifications, Yoelkis Aira wins
the series followed by his team mate Roslan Rivera and in third
place we had Jake Silverberg.
* 4&5 Cat 4&5 New team, new winners. A brand new
team, Cornerstone FL from Kendall took both home; the white
sprinters and the yellow jerseys. They were switching between
them the jerseys. The winner of the day was Ariel Lee that
finished first place overall and took the white jersey as well.
The second place of this race was for Adrian Perez, and the
third place was taken by Alfredo Diaz (team's mate of the
leader) that took second place overall as well. The final step
on the series’ podium was Alexis Cespedes.
