*35+ New team, new beginning, P Silva from Outcast Racing
Team won the race out of a breakaway with K Wagner from EBP and
B Reeves from Z Motion. The two intermediate sprints were taken
by L Rios and I Daniel. The white jersey still with J Rodriguez,
but now Rios ties in points with current leader. B Reeves with
his third place was able to secure the yellow jersey, followed
two points behind by N Trujillo from TAS team.
*45+ & 55+ J Armas from Pink Panthers kept both, sprinter’s
and leader’s jerseys; took both intermediate sprints. A break of
five riders drove away from the pack, but at the end only four
made it to the line; on a fast sprint C Ortiz from Ghost Riders
took the day, followed by W Martinez from Big Wheel Sunrise and
K Eggart from Cool beans. On the 55+ category F Craig took first
followed by R Abreu. In relation to the general classification M
Mosquera kept the yellow jersey but Craig now ties him with
eleven points.
*Pro 1,2,3 M Matos with a third place on one of the
intermediate sprints was able to keep the sprinter’s white
jersey, but J Rodriguez is just one point behind on second
place. No one was able to break away from the pack; therefore we
had a bunch sprint taken by Y Arias from Z Motion that took the
chance of raising his arms before the finish line. Second place
was for L Martinez, followed by R Sanchez. Aira is now the new
guy in yellow.
*4&5 Tie-breaker on white jersey did not happen as
expected, between N Rolo and a junior rider that is only 14
years old, S Delgado that keeps fighting for this jersey, and
now sits second place by just two points behind of J Rodriguez.
The bunch kept it together for the final sprint where A Salas by
throwing forward his bike on the line, beats N Rolo that kept
the yellow jersey but just by two points from Salas.
