*35+ Before the first climber’s points sprint, N Trujullo
from TAS team and I Franco from Z motion broke away from the
pack and stayed that way until the end of the race. Trujillo
collected enough points to keep his polka dot jersey, but with
his second place, now he is the new yellow jersey leader. I
Franco by winning the day, now seats fifth on GC. Out of the
four riders chasing the breakaway, R Robinson got the sprint to
close the podium.
*45+ & 55+ It does not get any better than this, the
general classification has B Reeves, J Armas and C Ortiz tied
with 17 points on first place, and for the climber’s jersey
another triple tie between Armas, Ortiz and Mlujeak. This is a
race to see develop at the final event of series II next time at
Miami Lakes. Ortiz Takes on the final sprint a win followed by
Mlujeak and C Sosa. In reference to 55+ M Mosquera wins the day
and increases his lead 3 points from F Craig.
*Pro 1,2,3 Dare to the challenge, seven juniors did. The
future of our local riders showed up to one of the best courses
down here to prove their self’s against the best we have; and
they placed third, fourth and fifth. We congratulate them for
the good efforts on improving their skills. In a Solo J Schurman
from champion system, wins the day, followed by P Sansbury and M
Bryon from Blue Star Team. The current leader Y Aira by placing
ninth was able to keep in yellow.
*4&5 This Vista View course made changes to the GC, but
consolidated the polka dot leader; J Rodriguez from Velo Masters
Team is unreachable on this category. M Danish in a solo won the
race, a group of four were chasing, C Canales got second and now
is in second place overall tie in points with R Gonzalez. N Rolo
placed fifth and collected enough points to regain the yellow
jersey that lost in stage three.
