* 35+ Six riders broke away, but two of them began a chit
chat and let the other 4, lapped the field. J. Armas took both
intermediate sprints and kept the yellow jersey. The winner of
the day N. Trujillo is now in third place overall, two points
behind second place C. Wright.
* 45+ & 55+ W. Cuello was the fastest out of the four men
breakaway to take stage two. L. Perez took the first
intermediate sprint to get the white sprinter’s jersey, while G.
Ferrer with his second place of the day is the new leader. On
the 55+ W Martinez took first place but A MacFarlane kept the
yellow jersey.
* Pro 1,2,3 The two intermediate sprints were taken by E
Lopez, “unhappy” with that, he won the race, and his team mate
JF Rodriguez got second place. Team Cocos brought every
attempted for a breakaway back to the bunch, but they only could
place H Eastman in third, before they return to Colombia. A
Zambrana with his fifth place of the day, gained enough points
to become the new leader.
* Cat 4&5 We could say: this race is the main
event. Why? Because the new riders and the new teams are given
us a tremendous race, day by day it gets more competitive. A.
Diaz took one intermediate sprint to get the white jersey. After
many jumps, at the end of the day two guys broke away and A. Cespedes won the race followed by J. Perez. M. Anderson that was
in between the leading group and the bunch was cooked in the
last 10 meters by the leader A. Lee, taken third place of the
day and keeping in yellow.
