*40+ On the sprinter’s white jersey, J Armas kept it by
getting three more points at the 4th race of the series; now he
has nine points follow by M Maharahj with five. Strong break
formed by J Rodriguez, S Mlujeak, N Gonzalez and G Ferrer opened
a good gap; but Bike America brought them back. Close final
sprint gave victory to C Wright over C Ortiz; third place was
for I Vera. On GC top two kept their positions, Robinson with 17
points and Reeves with 13; but Ortiz and Wright are now tie on
points with Reeves.
*50+ Most of the race the pack kept it together. Three riders
fighting for the white jersey gave us two nice sprints. S Wood
by getting four points kept his sprinter’s jersey, followed by C
Rosenthal two points behind. In a solo R Hurtado won the race,
the bunch had a close sprint taken by P Aldridge; and for third
place we had W Martinez. The surprise of the day was that Valle
lost the yellow jersey, and now Wood is the current leader.
*Pro Y Tsang could not get any points and lost his white
jersey, new sprinter’s leader now is G Rodriguez that from an
early break took six points. It did not take more than two laps
to bunch to bring back the breakaway at the end of the race. For
the final sprint, L Martinez wins the race followed by L Zayas
and third place was for O Marin. The interesting point here is
that Bello kept his yellow jersey and second and third places
are for his team mates Tsang and Henao respectively.
*4&5 An early break that ends up lapping the field gave
six points to C Sosa to take the sprinter’s jersey from I
Daniel. The final sprint was for J Rodriguez followed by C Sosa
and C Castellanos to complete podium positions. The General
classification maintains unchanged, L Cristia in yellow followed
by his team mates C Sosa and E Ortiz.
