*35+ Excess of confidence surprise team Cocos, they though
both jerseys were secure. J Armas from Pink Panthers Team took
both intermediate sprints collecting six points and winning the
sprinters jersey. O Marin had enough points that he had the
luxury of not racing to win the series. The day was for M
Morozov followed by R Joa and closing the top three was G Guzman
that placed second overall.
*45+ K Helms from Bike America Team by winning the last race
of the second series repeats, he wins for the second time both
jerseys. He looks unbeatable on this category. A Teixeira from
pink Panthers Team placed second overall seven points behind,
followed by M Mosquera racing for Big Wheel sunrise, in third
with one point less. For the day I Vera gets second place and
Peter Carlos gets third.
*Pro 1,2,3 The sprinter’s white jersey was definite at the
first intermediate sprint won JF Rodriguez over J Navarro. A
break of nine riders formed solid, and the leader Y Pol was not
there. Zayas needed six points to get the jersey but he got only
one point to get third place over all. I Franco by winning the
race got enough points to place him second overall. For the day
R Morozov got second followed by A Quintero in third.
*Cat 4 & 5 Y Rodriguez from GM Bikes wins in a solo
break. The field sprint is taken by J Rodriguez followed by Y
Bermudez. This third place gave him enough points to claim
victory for Series II, for just one point over J Rodriguez. But
this young rider gets the sprinter’s white jersey way ahead of
second place I Hernandez. Third place overall was very
competitive, P Posueco gets it but with same amount of points we
had G Buker and J Betanco.
