* Shiny morning and not wind, ideal day for the sprinters.
Current white jersey leader did not place today, but JF
Rodriguez took 5 out 6 possible points to sit second on GC. A
break of 10 riders look good for a while, but got caught about
three laps to go; but G Moore racing for Cycle Depot, kept on
going a won in a solo. The bunch sprint was for K Corsello,
followed by H Rendon from Patches team.
* The “old Guys” took it ease the first 15 minutes of racing,
slow and nice pace. J Armas consolidated his sprinters’ jersey
with 11 points total for this series. Things started moving
really fast and two men break was gone. They gave us one of the
closes photo finish ever at Rosewood, for a matter of
centimeters, I Franco from Bike Street took victory from G
Potter racing for Graner-Stradalli Team. Now, on the 55+ M
Mosquera won the day, followed by R Abreu, closing the podium we
had J Leon. GC has the same orders as the stage.
* Flying from the gun. Sprinters’ leader did not show up, now
we triple tie on first place. Interesting to see how this
develops next time, because the three of them do this real good.
R Rivera from South Miami Team played right at the end to win in
a solo. Tied sprint Between E Lopez from TTR team and R Giraldo,
current leader gave us the top thee.
* Weather changed, wind showed up. The fight for white gave
us good sprints. O Martinez kept the jersey, but has L Perez
just one point behind. A visitor from Dominican Republic racing
for Montegcci took victory for the day. H Pages and L Perez gave
us another close sprint, (a couple of inches) for second and
third place. A Serge from Cycle Depot still wearing yellow.
