*Milan-San Remo on its 105th edition due to a change on the
Ponpeiana climb exclusion because was ruled unsaved, will give
us the opportunity to see three different type of riders seeking
victory, in first place we will have sprinters like Andre
Greipel and Mark Cavendish, stalking the opportunity to overcome
the Poggio ascent with a selected group of riders at front of
the race. Then we will have strength and power riders as Tom
Boone and Fabian Cancellara looking to sneak out of the bunch
and successfully breakaway. Last but not least, climbers like
Nairo Quintana, Rigoberto Uran, Alberto Contador, Bradley
Wiggins and Vincenzo Nibali, that at the last ascent will push
harder to get rid of the sprinters and pace makers between
kilometer 284 and 288. The favorite to win due to his double
ability on this kind of classics is Peter Sagan; that easily
will engage the final 6 kilometers technical descend at front on
his way to San Remo; but keep an eye on Carlos Betancur and
Andrew Talansky.
*La versión 105 de Milán-San Remo que debido al cambio en la
ruta por los deslices en la subida a ponpeiana, nos traerá
nuevamente la posibilidad de ver tres tipos diferentes de
corredores luchando por la victoria, en primer lugar tendremos a
los velocistas como Andre Greipel, y Mark Cavendish al asecho y
en búsqueda de poder superar el último ascenso a Poggio con un
grupo ya selecto al frente de carrera. Después tenemos a los
corredores de fuerza como Tom Boone y Fabián Cancellara muy
pendientes de un descuido del pelotón para crear una fuga
inalcanzable. Posteriormente están los escaladores como Nairo
Quintana, Rigoberto Uran, Alberto Contador, Bradley Wiggins y
Vincenzo Nibali, que en el último ascenso impondrán un paso que
obligará tanto a los pasistas como a los velocistas perder rueda
entre el kilómetro 284 y el kilómetro 288. El gran favorito por
tener doble habilidad en este tipo de carreras es Peter Sagan
que fácilmente iniciará el descenso extremadamente técnico de
los últimos 6 kilómetros en frente de carrera y en camino a San
Remo; pero no pierda de vista a Carlos Betancur y Andrew
Talansky.
