While J. Armas secured his sprinter’s white jersey, he missed
the five men breakaway and lost the yellow jersey. From the
strong group of five, the fastest one at the of the race was Y
Aira that won the day, followed by A. Hulscher; last step of the
podium was for N Trujillo that now is the new leader for this
series.
*45+ & 55+
L Perez took the first intermediate sprint to keep the
sprinter’s white jersey, but J Armas is just one point behind.
Another group of five riders here broke away from the pack. The
strongest at the final sprint was W Cuello that now is second
overall. Second place of the day was for J Armas that sits third
on GC. The current leader, G Ferrer with his fifth place kept
the yellow jersey. On the 55+ a very closed sprint was taken by
W Martinez, a couple of centimeter behind was F Craig, M
Mosquera closed the top three, but now Mosquera and Craig are
tied with 16 points each.

E. Lopez took both intermediate sprints nice and easy with the
assistance of his team mates, to secure his sprinter’s white
jersey. No one was able to breakaway from the pack. Therefore we
were expecting a bunch sprint indeed; from the center of the
road emerge A Campbell to be the strongest of the day taking the
final sprint and victory home. One bike length behind, second
place was disputed between O. Williams and E. Lopez, where
Lopez’s third place gave him the yellow jersey as well. Our cat
3 leader is D Ceballo, followed by K Sakai and L Perez-Avila
*4&5
Still this category for far continues to be the main event, now
we have three strong teams fighting for the race, but we see
another two rising. The sprinters’ white jersey has two riders
tied in first place with eight points (Lee and Diaz) and on
second place we have another pair tied with five (Lopez and
Laiva) the fight for white is far from over. The end of the day
was indulged by G Smith that was the fastest in the final
sprint, followed by the current leader A Lee and S Herrera.
