*40+ A break of five riders early in the race without high
amount of points on GC made it easier for Bike America team and
their yellow jersey leader R Robinson. Also the sprinter’s
jersey was secured by J Armas from AG team. J Rojas also from AG
Bikes wins the day followed by J Rodriguez racing for Velo
Masters; third place was for N Diaz racing for AG team too.
*50+ Interesting situation we had on this race, current
leader S Wood had both jerseys, and the thoughts were, will he
goes for both jerseys? Well he did it. He was able to keep both
of them; even though W Martinez tried to get both of them too. A
break of two lapped the field and six riders were chasing them.
G Ferrer was the only one to close the gap from the chasing
group, and now three riders lapped the bunch. W Martinez from
Big wheel team, out sprinted A Fundora to win the day; and place
second overall on both jerseys.
*Pro 1,2,3 R Rivera from Performance team knew that he could
not get the white jersey, but anyways he went and won both
primes, to tie up on points with G Rodriguez from Cocos team. A
break of five gave no danger to the absent leader R Bello from
Flying Ace Team, due to a prior crash injury. G Bianchi gets the
breakaway group sprint to win the day, followed by A Gil and A
Garcia from EBP team. Flying Ace Team took top three places on
the general classification, the podium for series II belong to
them.
*4&5 The fight on this category was for third place, the
two contenders broke away, but Fundora decided not to work with
Ortiz and they went back to the bunch. C Sosa from Galiz team
had secured his white jersey. Galiz team decided not to let go
any one and wait for the final sprint; lead out was given to E
Ortiz to win the day and secure his third place on the podium.
They took all podium places and continue dominating this
category.
