*35+ Sportsmanship at its best, the bunch waited for yellow
jersey leader arrival. Started running the schedule little late
but was OK. EBP team dominated the intermediate sprints; JF
Rodriguez collected maximum points, followed by his team mate C
Sosa. A solo attempt near the end of the race by JA Hernandez
from Velo Master did not succeed and a bunch sprint gave us a
close one between the winner JF Rodriguez, C Wright from
Performance team and C Sosa. G Moore came forth and kept his
yellow jersey.
*45+ & 55+ Total domination of the white jersey leader, J
Armas won both intermediate sprints to continue collecting
maximum points and keeping on top of this classification. A few
jumps without success kept the field together for the final lap,
G ferrer made the bunch travel on Indian file, setting up the
sprint for his team mate, but I Vera took advantage an came by
himself to win the day, second place was for R Phonord from Bike
America, and for third place a close one between P Aldridge, W
Martinez and P Carlos. On the fifty five plus F Vasquez got
first, followed by his team mate M Mosquera and F Craig. Vera is
the new leader on the forty five plus and Mosquera kept yellow
on the other category.
*Pro 1,2,3 The arrival of a new generation is here, S Morfin
from Interactive Metronome Team from a break of seven riders won
the race and now is second place overall just one point behind.
The current leader R Rivera from Bike Street got second place on
today’s stage followed by G Bianchi from Guttemplan Coaching. R
Rivera also collected four points on the intermediate sprints to
gain as well the white sprinter’s jersey, difficult homework
ahead for him if looking to keep both jerseys.
*4&5 New team on the horizon, Andante/Patches team has
being growing up their racing skills as the season progresses,
they kept the bunch together most of the race placing W Loheide
in second place and A Osorio in third. But the day was for A
Salas from Performance team that won the final sprint; and now
in the new man in yellow, followed by S Sanchez from Galiz Team
just one point behind. O Martinez collected maximum points on
both intermediate sprints to keep the white sprinter’s jersey.
