*35+ Sunny day at Piccolo Park, therefore many rides showed
to this race with the exception of the current leader Morozov
due to a work related traveling issue. He had both jerseys and
kept the sprinters’ jersey. But for yellow a window of
opportunity to Hoch and Luis, unfortunately Hoch was out of
contention due to a crash. Performance Team with two riders’ top
five had now a better chance, and it happened. C Wright by
placing second took yellow. The winner of the day was in a solo
J Navarro, and to complete the top three we had L Alonso.
*45+ The leader did not show at this race. The situation was
similar than the previous race, but in this case Helms lost both
jerseys. Z motion handled it right, even thought due to a rolled
tubular from Vera’s rear wheel, crashing and taken his team mate
Reeves down; they were able to come back to the race and win it.
Not only that, but they took both jerseys, now Vera is in yellow
and Reeves wears white. Second place of the day was for W
Martinez, followed by C Rosenthal.
*Pro 1,2,3 Team Cocos is saving energy, they do not showed up
to the thirty five plus race to save some legs to keep the
yellow jersey in this category. After many attempts O Marin the
current leader managed to breakaway with team mate L Alonso and
with R Bello. By Marin winning the day was able to consolidate
his first place overall. R Bello took second and Alonso third.
Marin also took three points on the intermediate springs to take
also the points jersey.
*Cat 4 & 5 Willie’s Team had two riders with points to
make Bermudez do the chase. He played well by letting other
riders and his team mate Rodriguez do the work besides getting
the points jersey and also crashing at mid race . At the right
time three riders went clear, Bermudez won the race and kept the
yellow jersey. Second place of the day was for A Mena that also
seats in second place overall four point behind. Third place was
for R Padron,
