* 35+ New course, nice field. The fight for white is on
between the Rodriguez’s, JF is now the sprinter’s leader, he
took it from JA, and the difference is only one point; next two
intermediate sprints are going to be the best to watch July 20th
at Central Broward. G Moore from Cycle Depot won the day and
consolidated his yellow jersey. Second place of the day was for
JF Rodriguez, followed by C Sosa to close the top three podium
positions.
* 45+ & 55+ The white sprinter’s jersey has been
sustained by J Armas. A break of two on this new course was
gone, the bunch chased but not enough power to bring them back.
In a surprise sprint, P Lincoln racing for Cycle Depot took
victory from B Reeves from ZMotion/Bike Street. Out of the
chasers J Armas won the sprint to take the last place on the
podium. Now on the 55+ M Mosquera from Big Wheel Sunrise took
first place. Followed by S Kurth from Treasure Coast, last
podium place was for J Creavalle from Galiz Team.
* Pro 1,2,3 Double tie before the race on sprinter’s and
leader’s jersey anticipated a good race on this brand new
course. As it happened on the 35+ race the Rodriguez’s fought
for white, this time JA managed to be on the break of the day
and took enough points to take the sprinter’s jersey; the other
two companions were I Franco and V Herrera, that at the end
sprinted for glory, first place was taken by Herrera, followed
by Franco and third was for JA Rodriguez. P Sansbury placed
sixth to get sufficient points to be in yellow.
* 4&5 Rain made us wait, but was worth it. Since we had a tie
for first place, as expected the show was on. The current white
jersey leader before the race, did not want to do it under the
rain, this advantage given by him, gave the opportunity to C
Avila to gained five points to be the new sprinter’s leader. He
knew as well that H Rendon was the man to beat for yellow. Avila
was short for a couple inches on the final sprint, a closed and
excited one, third place for a few inches as well was for C
Fuentes. Redon from Patches Team is the new leader, but it is
not over for Cycle Depot, Avila is just one point behind and
Fuentes three points.
