*35+ Performance team was able to control the race, even
though the current leader C Wright did not race, they managed to
keep yellow for their team. Not only satisfied with that, they
were able to take the sprinter’s jersey that date too. G Guzman
outsprinted C Sosa and J Armas to win the race. With his second
place Sosa claimed second overall for the series, followed by J
Navarro.
*45+ Less than a half wheel separated A DeSouza and W
Martinez from the final sprint. With this second place Martinez
consolidated his yellow jersey for this series. Third place of
the day was for P Carlos. In the point’s competition, C
Rosenthal had in mind the white leader’s jersey and he took it
by winning the first intermediate sprint of the race.
*Pro 1,2,3 Impressive race by the newly arrivals to this
category. E Arniella, A Alayon (junior rider) V Herrera and G
Rodriguez lapped the field. Arniella won the race followed by
Herrera and Rodriguez. The current leader of both jerseys was
unreachable by the next rider in contention at each discipline,
therefore he came to enjoy the race without worries at all.
*Cat 4 & 5 With both jerseys secured by performance team, the
only worry they had was to qualify as many riders as possible
for the championships race. They managed to add up two more team
members to the list. H Alonso won the race followed by R Del Sol
and in third place was E Arboleda. For the general
classification Y Bermudez uncontested leader was followed by the
white jersey leader J Rodriguez. The last place at the podium
was taken by R Padron.
