*40+ Three riders managed to break away from the bunch, they
made it to the end, and R Hernandez wins the day followed by J
Hernandez. Third place for less than an inch was for J Rojas.
Points left for GC to be decided at the bunch sprint, but it did
not make a difference. The winner of the series was R Robinson
followed by N Trujillo and closing the last spot at the podium
we had J Armas.
*50+ First break of the day was a solo by R Hurtado. After a
few laps he got caught, the bunch went into dormant motion. K
Schofield took advantage and went solo, soon joined by R
Hernandez and M Behrens. This was the order of today's podium.
Now, for GC in an amazing sprint P Aldridge using a bigger size
bike due to an exchange for mechanical issue, gets the fourth
but not enough points to move up from his second position
overall. The winner of the series was C Rosenthal, and R
Hernandez moved up to third.
*Pro 1,2,3 Extremely fast race from start, doing well over 30
mph, the bunch moved indian file at least 7 to 10 laps. First
signal of weakness and four riders got a way. 15 minutes before
the end of the race S Mlujeak jumped dropping his three
companions to lap the field. A few minutes later J Silverberg
does the same and wins the day. But the other two couldn't
emulate, getting M Chauner third and F Matute fourth, to
consolidate his last place on the podium overall. The bunch
sprint was taken by P Sansbury followed by E Lopez; reinforcing
in the same order winner and second place on GC for the winter
series.
*4&5 About 25 minutes into the race a break of four open
up a 20 second gap, that started to increase every time around
until they lapped the field. The GC guys were not concern
because they did not have points to thread the overall. D
Paulate wins the day followed by A Arrocha; last step at the
podium was for R Romay. GC did not suffer any changes, N Rolo
gets the final yellow jersey, second place was for R Ramirez and
third for W Loheide.
