*35+ Early break of 4 riders were chased by another 4 riders
and a new bunch of 8 got away, along the race two riders got
dropped and the reminding 6 went ahead until the final lap. On a
close sprint for about half length of a bike G Moore from Bike
America team became the 2013 champion followed by C Sosa from
EBP on second place, closing the podium R Robinson took bronze.
*45+ & 55+ A few attempts to breakaway did not
materialized, along with a discussion on last break between
riders right in front of the finish line that got caught by the
field. I Vera from veloce Team won the final sprint and the
championships, followed by G Schneider from Pink Panthers. Third
place at the podium was for S Mlujeak from Stradalli Team. On
the 55+ M Mosquera mixed with the top riders at the final sprint
took the championships, followed by F Craig from Performance
Team, closing the podium for bronze was B Crement from Miami
Masters.
*Pro 1,2,3 The animators of this race were the junior riders
by been very active throughout the entire race. A break of 11
riders took over 30 seconds on the field and little by little
they gave up chasing. A Alayon in a brave move went in a solo
for 3 laps but was caught by the group. The final sprint gave us
a new champ, P Sansbury took victory over A Tavares from EBP,
but he was not qualified for the championships, therefore H
Ramirez took bronze, followed by D Cueli from EBP.
*4&5 Many solo attempts for the first 20 minutes of the
race, a duo from Bike America also went clear but came back to
the pack. Finally two riders, A Garcia from TAS Team N Rolo from
Colavita open a gap over 30 seconds, patches team worked hard
but could not brought them back, and the pack gave up the chase.
Garcia clearly took the championships jersey leaving second
place to Rolo, the bunch sprint was close between TAS team mates
and Martinez took third place.
