*35+ Sprinter’s classification for this series has been
secured by JF Rodriguez from EBP team. He also won the race and
kept his yellow jersey. Bike America worked hard for their team
leader and second place overall G Moore but couldn’t accommodate
him for a better placing that fifth on this stage. Second place
of the day was for I Franco and the thickness of the front wheel
rim, gave C Sosa third place from C Wright.
*45+ & 55+ A late two men breakaway gave victory to B
Reeves from Bike street team followed by A Macfarlane racing for
Andante/Patches team. The field sprint was taken by Big Wheel
Sunrise Team’s sprinter W Martinez. GC has S Mlujeak in first
place follow by two riders’ just one point behind, I Vera and J
Armas. This coming Sunday at Piccolo these three will give us a
good race to watch. White jersey has been secured by J Armas
with sixteen points. On the 55+ looks like podium has been taken
by Big Wheel Sunrise, can performance spoil it? Mosquera is out
of reach but Ortiz and Vasquez with 21 can be taken by Craig
with 17?
*Pro 1,2,3 Our guys racing in Belgium showed the condition
that they came with. Cueli and Silverberg showed strength and
power covering all breaks, but unfortunately got caught two laps
to go from a group of six. Y Falcon wins the day by a bike
length from H Ramirez, also followed by JF Rodriguez two bike
lengths. N Alder took the two intermediate sprints and got
himself second place overall on the white jersey by just one
point behind R Rivera, who will take the final one home? In
reference to GC Rivera still on first place followed by S Morfin
4 points behind. Third place is for JF Rodriguez with 14 points.
*4&5 It doesn’t get any better than this, top 4 guys on
GC separated by one point and fifth place A Osorio former yellow
jersey leader, two points behind. C Fuentes wins the day and
moved first overall, A Salas got second and went to third place,
and K Abbate got third and is now second on GC. White jersey
already has a name O Martinez has 16 points. This Sunday at
piccolo we will close series III with a very challenging race,
difficult to predict but could be any one the final yellow
jersey winner, we only can say that this will be a worth race to
see.
