*40+ 2014 season opener began with an earlier break of seven
riders that made it to the end, as well as lapping the field.
The final sprint gave us J Armas from Pink Panthers Team as the
race winner from about a bike length from R Robinson racing for
Bike America Team. The podium was completed by N Trujillo
representing TAS Team.
*50+ Windy morning for the old guys, but fun. Many attempts
of braking away by riders throughout the race but no success
there, Bike America was closing all gaps; until about 5 laps to
go A Macfarlane racing for Andante/Patches Team jumped and kept
it in a solo to win the race. The sprint field was taken by P
Aldridge from Galiz Team, followed by C Rosenthal now with Cycle
Depot.
*Pro 1,2,3 Another break that stuck out on the opening
season, six riders open up a gap and they were gone. Later on
two riders broke from this front group, but at the same time
another two riders that jumped from the pack were closing the
gap. The final sprint was taken by P Sansbury from Recio Racing
Team,from F Matute (unattached). Last podium position from the
group chasing, was for E Lopez racing for TTR Team
*4&5 Closing the season opener and beating the rain for a
couple of minutes, we had a three men break chase and caught by
another four riders, ten minutes before last three laps to go, D
Londono break in a solo and lapped the field, next lap two other
did the same and at next one the other four accomplished
equally. Soon after A Macfarlane from Andante/Patches Team went
in a solo seeking to repeat what he did on the 50+ race; but N
Rolo from TTR Team spoiled the action and won the race. Final
step on the podium was for R Ramirez (unattached).
