The series started with a tie on the sprinter’s white jersey
between J. Armas and L. Perez. After the second intermediate
sprint Y. Aira went into a solo to win the day, while for second
place we had a close sprint taken by JF Rodriguez leaving third
place to C. Wright.
*45+ & 55+
After warming up on the 35+ G Ferrer went from the beginning in
a solo to take all points on the sprinter’s white jersey and the
race leader’s jersey as well, he lapped all but the seven riders
chasing him. From that group, W Cuello for the a bike length
took second place from L. Perez, while M Mosquera was the winner
of the 55+ followed by A. MacFarlane and W. Martinez.

The two intermediate sprints were intense; the first one was
taken by E. Lopez while the second one was for the Canadian W
Gonzalez. A strong breakaway of seven riders lapped the field,
in order to save a protest, the referee decided to do an early
sprint for the lapped riders, to let the riders on the breakaway
do their own final sprint and the winner was E. Lopez followed
by Y. Aira and F. Gonzalez.

The main event was better than ever, new teams continue to join
in. Thanks to the cash donated by “12 camiones” and Jimmy we
were able to do five $20.00 primes in addition the regular
intermediate sprints, they were given randomly to make the race
more intense. Finally a breakaway formed by three riders that
almost got caught before crossing the line. The winner of the
day was A. Lee followed by L. Santamaria and A. Cespedes.
