*40+ As the former leader Sosa said when he knew that Noe
Gonzalez took the jersey from him, Hialeah riders continue
winning. Team Performance wiped the podium by taken both
jerseys; Luis Rios claimed the sprinter’s jersey. In a two men
break J Armas from AG Team took first place of the day and Noe
was second, giving him enough points to be in yellow.
*50+ The general classification podium was all for Big Wheel
Sunrise Team. Not only by taken the top two places for the day;
made this series for the first time in our history the top three
ended up with the same amount of points. W Martinez kept yellow,
followed by M Mosquera and G Ferrer. The white jersey was taken
by A Fundora racing for Velo Masters of Miami.
*Pro 1,2,3 From Dominguez to Companioni. Fourteen years
ago the Cuban Missile came to Miami and dominated Rosewood
series, today Ruben Companioni came to Miami and did too; he
took both yellow and white jerseys to win series III. Advice is
always good and Ivan gave it to Ruben last Sunday after the
race, past and future generation supporting each other that is
what this is all about, handing over expertise to future stars.
Speaking of stars, a raising one shined last Sunday, one of our
juniors riders, Ruben Del Cristo; from an strong group of 10
riders that lapped the field, two laps to go in a solo won the
race, congratulations for the good work.
*4&5 New riders into this category are changing the
dynamics. Now not a single team is dominating this event. Y Aira
from Rosetti Team won the day and gave him enough points to tie
up in points to the current leader L Cristia from Galiz Team
that place third. Second place was for E Lopez from Stradelli
that kept the sprinter’s jersey and placed third overall.
