* 35+ The new series brought a new contender deficit to beat.
Y Aira showed in the intermediate sprints, his abilities, by
placing second on the first one, and won the next one. Not only
happy with that, took first place at the race, to be the first
yellow leader, of course he has a good team mates behind him,
they placed 3rd and 4th. Second place at the podium was for JA
Rodriguez.
* 45+ 55+ J Armas has his 15th white jersey set on his mind;
therefore he took both intermediate sprints. It looks like no
one, is up to the challenge. A strong breakaway of 7 riders,
lapped the field, two of them were 55+, P Lincoln and A
Macfarlane. The final sprint on the 45+ was taken by S Mlujeak,
followed by G Ferrer and C Ortiz. 4 women raced, the best
placing from them was for A Martinez.
* Pro 1,2,3 Team Cocos resurrected, they animated the first
part of the race. On the intermediate sprints, we have a new
challenger, A Gil, which now sits tied, on first place with the
winner of the race, G Bianchi that in a solo surprised the bunch
that could not get to him. The struggle in the final sprint from
the pack was taken by E Lopez followed by Y Aira.
* 4&5 The amazing race, first time racing for J Gonzalez,
and takes his first victory; in a race with many attempts to get
away, including the last lap, when in a strong jump, A Arrocha
looked like the winner, but 20 meters to the line got caught and
passed by 4 riders. Second place of the day was for C Fuentes,
followed by A Cespedes. On the sprinter's white jersey, the new
leader is J Bomnin.
*Kids Five kids came to race in three different categories.
The winners were: T Mlujeak, E Cavendish and R Roche.
