Lauderhill, FL, Aug 23rd, 2015

* 35+ “The fight for white” Two team mates looking for white, JA Rodriguez and Y Tsang; but at the same time A. Hulscher is getting into the mix, with one of the closest sprint finishes, that he lost for millimeters, this let Jose A. to be the new sprinter’s leader. A group of seven got separated from the bunch, but the fastest one was the man in yellow: Y Aira. So far no one has been able to match his speed, with two out of two victories, next stop the “dump” let see, how they will do it uphill.
* 45+ 55+ “Another fight for white” S Mlujeak not only happy to be man in yellow, it looks like; he is going for white as well. He took the first intermediate sprint, and place 3rd on the second one, to tie in points now at the sprinter leader’s table. After this, and until the end of the race, we had: two riders in the break, another two chasing, and then the bunch. L Perez took the day’s victory, followed by L Rodriguez. Out of the two chasers, the current leader took third place.
In a long and hard sprint for the 55+, C Rosenthal for a quarter of a wheel, managed to take victory from M Mosquera, to give a tie on 1st place at GC. Closing the podium we had R Ortiz.
* Pro 1,2,3 Curiously all the riders that placed for points last Sunday at race, no one had points from the prior race, meaning that the absent leader did not lose the yellow jersey. After the second intermediate sprint, three riders broke away, then we had a couple of riders that chased in a solo, but the bunch brought them back; until JA Rodriguez went solo to take 4th place. The leading trio gave us, an “easy” final sprint, taken by R Companioni, followed by L Zayas, and closing the podium we had C Sosa. The bunch sprint for 5th place was for Y Falcon.
* 4&5 Another race where the white jersey points, are up high. J Bommin with a single point was able to keep the sprinter’s jersey, but now R Moreno is tied on points at first place. This dead heat, at the next round, will unveil who has the fastest legs. A race where no one was able to breakaway, presented us with a final bunch sprint, about 50 meter to the line, we thought that E Lopez had it, but not quite, because W Loheide, flew by his right side, to take victory. K Sakai had to conform with a creditable third place.
